Can’t Be Back.. If you never LEFT!! 🔥 🔥 Platinum boys made their mark on their first tournament of the season.. such an amazing performance by all. Congratulations to Hayden Atkinson for hitting MVP with 2 💣 ‘s, Trey Cannon on pitching MVP for a Shutout performance and the rest of the boys for a 4-0 start with hard work.

4-0, 42 runs scored, 8 runs allowed, 38 hits, 2 HR’s, 7 doubles and 29 bases stolen.

Our 2025 year summed up. Boys had a terrific year and became one of the greatest teams I have had the pleasure if being a part of. Thank you to those that supported, helped, and showed love to the Platinum boys. A few stats below👇🏻:

10 tournaments, 44 games - 28 - 16 record (.636),
4 runner ups win, 3 championship wins
6 games lost by less than 2 runs
4 games walk off wins
4 losses by higher rank division or played age group up

Out scoring opponents 342- 229
With a team batting average of .341

Well accomplished boys. Keep working and striving for great things!!

Another season down - another win in the books. Boys made another sweep for the second week in a row. Out scoring opponents 31-5 in 3 games (1 weather delayed). I’d say the boys deserve a little time off!! Way to close out your 2025 years Bags. 10 tournamens played in 2025 with 7 Top 2 finishes - with 3 tournament championships. Proud to see soooo much growth in these boys. Now we look forward to 2026!

Boys held down a heck of a 14u tournament this weekend in Goldsboro. Battling in the championship game that was one for the books to a very deserving team..but coming out Champions in a 4-0 run. Scoring 59-14 runs ( allowing 2 runs over 3 games) absolutely locked in all weekend. Such a special group of ballers. Can’t wait for all their high school accomplishments. Way to show out Bags

Congrats to all the boys placing in Saturday’s top performers. A huge shout out to Hayden Atkinson for earning the tournament MVP for an absolutely killer weekend. Well deserved kid!!!

DB Platinum boys back on the field for their long awaited fall debut. Going 3-1 on the weekend and coming away with a good win in the PG championship game. Glad to have these boys back and battling together. Way to put in work boys!
And a congrats to Ryan Mair and Miles Davis for getting on the board with hitting and pitching

Our boys went into battle at Ripken Experience Myrtle Beach this week. And battle I mean through the heat & delays, through 11 pm games, 10 AM games, great teams and great baseball. Not the outcome we had hoped, but growth we showed, integrity we showed, and resilience we showed. Our boys were highly complemented by several teams which makes us all proud to do the job we do. Congratulations to the boys for an outstanding performance, riding the wave of emotions, and the effort in maturity. We are proud of these boys and proud to be able to coach and guide these boys in their journeys.

Thank you to all the coaches, for their hard work, dedication, and love for these boys this season. Thank you to all the parents for supporting our organization and every kid that isn’t theirs. Dirtbags Platinum is 💯 a family that gives and cares.
