Winterset Music Club

Winterset Music Club The Winterset Music Club is part of the National Federation of Music Clubs, and seeks to promote the study, performance and enjoyment of music.

For over 60 years, the Winterset Music Club fas fulfilled the purpose of the National Federation of Music Clubs, "to promote the study, performance and enjoyment of music." Each year, we organize the entertainment for the Mel Penrod Stage during the Covered Bridge Festival. We also host a recital during National Music Week each May. Proceeds from the free-will offering at that concert are used to

provide scholarships for area students to attend music camps. We would like to keep music a strong and vital part of Winterset culture.

Come support local musicians at the music club spring concert at First Christian Church on Sunday, May 5 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Tickets $5 (or free will offering).
All funds collected go to provide music camp scholarships for local students.
Area talent will be performing a variety of songs and instrumental pieces.

Kudos to our wonderful performers! What excellent talent we have here in Madison County!

Seven different acts took the stage for our 2015 Winterset's Got Talent contest at the Covered Bridge Festival. First place went to Gavin K, who took home bragging rights and $25. Monies raised from the competition will go to fund summer music camp scholarships for area students.
