Sisters, I don't know about you, but in all honesty, I too often start my day out in my own thoughts and plans.

My "flesh" is already taking my mind in so many directions that I can have quite a mixed bowl of spaghetti going on in my flawed and human brain before I even step out of bed. "Did I add bananas to the grocery list? Is that meeting today...I'm not prepared! I need to get more exercise. Are my kids doing okay today? Is Amazon delivering that package this morning? I left a load of laundry in the wash last night!"...I could go on and on. You can literally hear the stress and anxiety in the words, can't you? I can hear the ME-centeredness in them too.

Today I am committing to the Lord that every morning, before I even get out of bed, I will "pray that God gets into my head before I do." I will empty me of myself and ask Him to pour out Himself over my day! Then I will eagerly watch for Him at work all day long...and join Him there. I can literally hear the peace and joy in those words. It's all about Him!

I wanted to share this prayer from Priscilla Shirer this morning. Let's start our everyday connecting with God! He is amazing and He loves us so very much. Don't you just love Him so much right back?!! I do! Have a blessed day.🩷

I don't know where I heard this but it's so true...

"When I spend time in God's Word,
His fingerprint of love shines through on every page."

God loves to love us.
He loves us SO much
that He sent His son to die for us [John 3:16].
Everything we have, every experience is a gift from Him.
One that we didn't pay or sacrifice for, He did.
That's grace.
Actually, grace upon grace [John 1:16].

So get your Bible out, girl.
Dust it off if you have to.
Dig in to see just how very much He loves you!

It's all there.

And as you surrender to Him He will bring to light the words on the page. Stick with it. He's got you!

Christmas is a celebration of Jesus' birthday, but it's also a celebration of the gift of grace delivered in a manger. A gift we did nothing to earn and quite frankly, don't deserve. It's a glimpse into just how much He loves us and wants to spend eternity with us. This Christmas, may that love...His radiant love, soak into your heart and shine outward for everyone to see.

As we Selah (pause and consider what the Lord has done) we thank Him and praise Him for a blessed season at Cedar Creek in Winterset, IA. What a wonderful, peaceful place to draw closer to Him and closer to each other. Thank You, God!
Today we are excited to celebrate a new season of ministry! The mission is the same as God makes a way for fresh opportunities to reach women for Him. New retreats are being written. We are scouting out more gathering spots and "happy places". And "God's girls" are uniting to bring God's message, music and love to women everywhere we can.
The packing and unpacking are coming to an end as we settle into our new office in Ankeny, Iowa. There is much administrative and creative work to be done...but the new journey has begun. Stay tuned for some small "pop up" events in the next months. I can't wait to retreat with God and all of you! Stay posted...
