Frequently asked question: Are there park fees?
* Winterset Residents: No fee; access to the park is included in your annual registration fee with the city.
* Non-Residents: $10 annual fee, payable at the Park & Rec office in City Hall, 124 W Court Ave, Winterset

I’ve had a couple people ask -the dog park will be closed temporarily until the ground dries up so we don’t create mud holes where we are trying to get grass to grow. This is only temporary and you can check the Winterset Parks And Rec page to find out when it is reopened. We will try to get it back up and going as soon as the wind and mother nature cooperates
