Enjoy the Winter Area Lions photos from July Jubilee. Prince Paul Velazquez, Princess Briggs Cody and Out-going Queen Allison Roberts shared the ride down main street in the parade. Lion Patti Helsing and Bill Rubenzer traveled in the jeep pulling the float and Lions Shaun Melarvie, Mike O'Mara, Jody & Larry Douglas and friends walked behind the float and handed out beads as souvenirs. As you walk through the Main Street door of the Winter Co-op, you will see this large yellow mail box type structure. Please use it for donating your eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones to Winter Area Lions Club. It is important that you recycle all these items, as volunteers clean, sort, and distribute them to people in need, primarily in developing countries, who otherwise would not have access to them. A short business meeting will follow the meal and it will include Installation of Officers for July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027 Lion Year. This is your chance to meet the officers and learn about the Lions Organization, learn about our fund-raising events and how we help our community.
