A deeply moving and heartfelt program at the Rotary Club of Winter Springs. ❤️

We heard from Noelle Moore of the Finely Project and our fellow Rotarian, Sara Ricks, as they shared the heartbreaking realities faced by mothers and families who have experienced the loss of a baby.

There are few words that can truly capture the unimaginable pain of losing a child. Behind every loss is a mother whose heart carries a love that does not end, a family forever changed, and a precious life that deserves to be remembered.

Noelle and Sara reminded us of the importance of compassion, understanding, and simply being there for families during one of the darkest moments of their lives. Their courage in sharing this difficult and deeply personal subject touched all of us.

We enjoyed an informative and engaging program this week as we welcomed guests from the Oviedo-Winter Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce.

It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the Chamber’s work in our community, connect with local leaders, and strengthen relationships that help make Winter Springs and Oviedo great places to live, work, and serve.

Today, we remember our dear friend and fellow Rotarian, David Puddles, with deep sadness and great gratitude. David’s friendship, kindness, and commitment to service were a meaningful part of our Rotary Club of Winter Springsfamily. He gave generously of his time and heart in the spirit of “Service Above Self,” making a difference not only through his service, but through the friendships and connections he built along the way.

We will miss his fellowship, his warmth, and the special presence he brought to our Rotary family. Our hearts and deepest condolences are with David’s family and loved ones. May they find comfort in knowing how much he was loved, respected, and appreciated by his fellow Rotarians.

Rest in peace, dear friend. Your service and friendship will not be forgotten.

Today’s Rotary Club of Winter Springsclub assembly was a special one! We had the privilege of getting to know one of our most tenured members, Larry Beasley, and hearing his fascinating story and background.

It’s members like Larry who truly embody Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self. What a great reminder of the impact one person can make through a lifetime of service, leadership, and commitment to others. 💙💛
