THE SLOVAK GARDEN — A HOME FOR AMERICAN SLOVAKS, INC. welcomed delegations from Slovakia:
Tomáš DRUCKER — Minister of Education, Research, Development and Youth, and his staff, and Andrej DROBA — Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to the United States, and his staff.
We were delighted to have such honorable guests on our grounds.
We met our distinguished guests at the Main Hall and walked through our museum and library. During a meeting in the museum, we had the chance to debate how we can expand and preserve the Slovak Garden library and museum with additional artifacts. We discussed the possibility of tutoring the Slovak language for children and adults, and how to help people who are interested in obtaining visas or other documents needed to travel to Slovakia. Later, we walked to M.R. Štefanik Hall to meet and greet other Slovak Garden members. We had a very enjoyable afternoon with our distinguished guests.

The Slovak Garden Women’s Club organized a beautiful and heartfelt Mother’s Day celebration filled with warm memories, friendship, and appreciation. The ladies shared touching stories about their mothers and proudly brought cherished family photos to honor their memories and the important role mothers play in our lives.
Frank Rudzik warmly welcomed all the mothers, congratulated them on Mother’s Day, and personally presented each lady with a red rose. His thoughtful gesture made every mother feel truly special and appreciated, adding a wonderful personal touch to the celebration.

Every organized party and gathering requires preparation, and it was no different for the preparation of the 74th Slovak Day.
