The final day of Youth Leaders was a celebration of growth, leadership, and the exciting opportunities that lie ahead for this remarkable group of students.

Participants explored future career paths through a Career Insight Panel, learned the importance of gratitude during a Thank You Card Writing Workshop led by Lacy Reiss of the Aera Foundation and Youth Leaders Chair, prepared their graduation presentations, and celebrated the completion of the program alongside their families at the Graduation Ceremony.

Congratulations to the entire Youth Leaders class on completing an impactful week of learning, personal growth, and leadership development. We look forward to seeing how these students continue to lead in their schools and communities.

A special thank you to our Youth Leaders Directors and intern for their dedication, hard work, and support throughout the week. Their time and commitment helped create a meaningful and memorable experience for this year's class.

Today’s Youth Leaders program gave students an inside look at the important role law enforcement, first responders, and the judicial system play in serving our community.

From CPR training and emergency response demonstrations to a behind-the-scenes tour with the Winter Park Fire-Rescue Department and Winter Park Police Department , students experienced public service in action. The day concluded at the Orange County Courthouse, where participants took part in a mock trial led by Ivan Lys-Dobradin of The Gulf Stream Law Firm PLLC, Jabari Bennett of Bennett Legal, Crystal Buit of Lowndes, and Jacinda Beraud of Bowman & Brooke, providing a unique opportunity to learn directly from legal professionals and gain a deeper understanding of the justice system.

Thank you to everyone who shared their time and expertise to inspire the next generation of leaders.

Thank you to our session sponsor The Gulf Stream Law Firm PLLC

Yesterday, Youth Leaders explored Winter Park and the surrounding community with visits to the Winter Park Scenic Boat Tour and The Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art . We then headed to 4Roots, where we learned about their impactful work and rolled up our sleeves to support it firsthand. It was an energizing day getting up close with the places and people that make our town unique!

We're grateful for our community partners who made today possible, as well as presenting sponsors Ryan & Michelle DeVos and session sponsor Beacon Pointe Advisors .

During the first day of the program, the Youth Leaders got to know each other through fun icebreakers with Kyle Roach, developed a better understanding of their leadership styles through the CliftonStrengths assessment with Michelle Whiteside, and polished their public speaking skills with Bryn Fussell. Thank you to all of our presenters. We’re looking forward to an engaging and exciting week ahead!

A special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Ryan & Michelle DeVos and to today’s session sponsor, Poinsette Foundation, for their support of the Youth Leaders program.
