Desi is an organization on Rollins campus (Winter Park, Florida) that celebrates the South Asian cultures (India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh etc.). We hold an annual Diwali Dinner event to celebrate Diwali, a holiday that is extremely important to these cultures. We also put on smaller events throughout the year including Bollywood Movie Nights (Bollywood being one of the largest film producers i

n the world). Our mission is to educate the Rollins campus about these cultures and show off beauty of them, as well as providing a type of support for people who are from these cultures.
