Winter adventure camp for children with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa. Camp Spirit Colorado is free to all campers.

Every year, campers with RDEB come to the beautiful Colorado mountains to ski, learn to drive a dogsled, snowmobile, among other winter activities. It gives them a chance to meet other campers with RDEB who can relate to their daily struggles and provide lasting friendships. Camp is a place to have fun and focus on abilities, rather than disabilities. Camp is a special place for kids to participat

e in activities otherwise outside their normal lives. Here in the mountains, kids are given the opportunity to exit their comfort zones in a safe environment and still have a great time. Our entire staff is made up of volunteers, so 100% of all donations go into the program. Happy St. Patrick’s Day 🍀

Today, we’re feeling especially lucky and blessed by the generosity and support of some very special families who created incredible gift bags for our campers — filled with hand-written letters, hand-knit hats, fuzzy socks, and cozy blankets.

A heartfelt thank you to Miss Courtney Mann and her son Coleman for leading this beautiful effort. Your thoughtfulness and generosity brought so many smiles to our campers and reminded us what the true spirit of kindness looks like.

🏔️ After a full day of mountain adventures and cabin fun, there's nothing quite like coming together as a group to slow down and soak it all in. We wrapped up our evening reflecting on the day's memories, sharing laughs and gratitude, and closing it all out with a peaceful group meditation. ✨🧘
Moments like these are what camp spirit is all about — not just the adventure, but the stillness in between.
A huge heartfelt THANK YOU to for providing the most breathtaking, serene backdrop for our winter camp. Your beautiful location made every moment — from the snowy peaks to the quiet evening skies — feel truly magical. We couldn't have asked for a better home base. 🌲❄️

Our hospitality team at Camp Spirit Colorado makes everything run — and this year, they raised the bar. 💛🏕️
Showing up every single day with creativity, efficiency, and so much heart — from themed dinners that made mealtimes feel like a celebration, to fresh towels every day, clean cabins, and snacks always at the ready — every detail was handled with care. The kitchen and cabin hummed like a well-oiled machine, and the food? Absolutely delicious. 🍽️🎉
Mealtimes at Camp Spirit are always a highlight, and this year they were truly something special. The love and thoughtfulness that went into every meal and every space was felt by every single camper and staff member.
Camp Spirit simply could not run without this team, and we want to make sure they know just how seen and appreciated they are. 🙌💕

One of the most beloved traditions at Camp Spirit Colorado is baking and decorating cookies — and it's all thanks to the incredible Allie Sterner 💛
Allie's delicious recipe started something truly special here at camp, and her generosity continues to show up in the biggest ways. She also donated an incredible amount of craft supplies, gifts, and treats for our campers, and we just can't thank her enough. 🎨🍪
Beyond camp, Allie is a passionate advocate for the Epidermolysis Bullosa community, and her dedication to EB families has left a lasting impact on so many lives. We are endlessly inspired by her heart.

Every year, without fail, these incredible volunteers lace up, zip on those green vests, and show up HUGE for Camp Spirit at Winter Park. Year after year, these legends bring the stoke, the heart, and the energy that gets our kids soaring down the mountain. 🏔️❄️

National Sports Center for the Disabled — isn’t just any mountain program. This is where Paralympic athletes train. This is where champions are made. And it’s where our campers get to experience that same magic, powered by the world-class care of volunteers who give everything to make it happen.
