Q***r providers deserve community too 🌈

This Pride Month we're gathering together with LGBTQ+ providers, affirming allies, and supportive professionals for a laid back BYOF picnic at Lake Eola Park.

Because representation matters. Because families deserve aligned care. Because so many q***r families are searching for providers who feel safe, affirming, and welcoming.

Bring your own food, a blanket or chair, and come connect with community.

Member Spotlight 💛

This week we’re highlighting a virtual therapy practice specializing in maternal mental health support for individuals and couples navigating fertility challenges, pregnancy, postpartum, parenting transitions, grief, anxiety, and relationship stress.

Led by Dr. Shaenor Ishmael, Inspired Counseling Center serves families across Florida with compassionate, evidence-based care designed to help clients feel supported through every stage of the parenting journey. The practice is also LGBTQIA-friendly, BIPOC-friendly, and accepts several major insurance plans.

Mental health support is community care, and we’re grateful to have Inspired Counseling Center as part of the CFBN directory. ✨

Maternal mental health outcomes improve when families feel safe, affirmed, and supported. That includes q***r and trans parents. 💛

Too many LGBTQ+ families navigate pregnancy and postpartum while feeling unseen in healthcare spaces. Community based care helps change that.

At CFBN, we believe families deserve access to providers and spaces where they can show up fully as themselves, ask questions openly, and receive care without judgment. Visibility, connection, and affirming support matter.

What support can actually look like during pregnancy and postpartum 🤎

Sometimes it looks like a provider who remembers your concerns from your last visit.
A space that feels cozy instead of clinical.
Appointments where you don’t feel rushed.
Care teams that collaborate instead of compete.

Because whole person care is about more than checking boxes. It’s about relationships, trust, and creating safer experiences for families.

That kind of support matters. 🌿
