Your story can help someone feel less alone. 💜

This month, we're collecting stories about breastfeeding and infant feeding, the beautiful moments, the hard ones, the unexpected ones, and everything in between. Because when we only talk about the picture perfect version, we miss the experiences that can help another parent feel seen, understood, and supported.

Your story can help us better understand what families are experiencing and why stronger, more accessible support matters.

Share Your Story with CFBN this National Breastfeeding Month.

Your experience matters. And someone may need to hear it. 💜 Click the link in bio or comment for details.

Families have more ways than ever to get information about feeding their babies — AI, free apps, social media, online resources.

But information isn't the same as support.

One question we're bringing to our Infant Feeding Support Roundtable: How can we, as a community, support each other and new families through this changing landscape?

Join us for the virtual discussion next weekend to discover methods that you can implement now. 💜

Cherise needs us to keep the pressure on!
In March, CFBN spoke out about Cherise Doyley’s forced surgical birth at UF Health Jacksonville. Now, as she moves forward with legal action, she’s asking our community to help keep attention on this case and press for accountability.

There are simple ways you can show up: share, speak up, leave an honest review, engage with UF Health Jacksonville’s social media, and help keep this conversation visible.

We’re sharing Cherise’s action guide below so you can see exactly how to help.

Our voices matter. Our collective action matters. 💜

What happens when support exists, but families still can't access it? 🧐

That's the conversation we're bringing to the table at our Central Florida Infant Feeding Support Roundtable.

We're bringing together lactation professionals, doulas, midwives, healthcare providers, therapists, public health professionals, and other community care providers to look beyond the usual answers and get specific about where families are getting stuck.

If you work with families, this conversation is for you. We're not just talking about barriers. We're asking what we can do differently, what connections are missing, and how we can fill those gaps with the resources and relationships already in our community.

Please help us welcome Alyssa Gama-Morales to the Central Florida Birth Network Leadership Circle! 💜

Alyssa is joining our Core Team as Member Coordinator, where she'll be helping welcome new members, strengthen connections across our network, and make sure our community feels just that... like a community!

As our membership continues to grow, so does the importance of building meaningful relationships. Whether she's checking in, helping you get connected, or introducing you to another member, Alyssa's role is all about making it easier for our community to learn from one another and collaborate.

Alyssa is a future doula and nurse midwife, and we're excited to have her growing alongside CFBN as she begins this next chapter.

If you hear from Alyssa or see her at an upcoming event, be sure to introduce yourself and give her a warm welcome! 🎉
