A Faith Where You Can Belong
Imagine a church where you can bring your faith, your questions, your hopes, and your whole self. Imagine gathering around Christ’s table knowing that your dignity is honored and your gifts are welcomed. For someone seeking that spiritual home, the Reformed Catholic Church offers a meaningful path. It is an invitation to grow in faith through the sacraments, thoughtful reflection, and love put into action.
Our Reformed Catholic faith is rooted in the seven sacraments, the celebration of the Eucharist, Scripture, prayer, and the richness of Catholic tradition. Within that tradition, we welcome women and 2SLGBTQIA+ people into the full life and leadership of the church, including ordained ministry. We recognize that honest questions can deepen faith and that an informed conscience deserves respect. We also believe that worship must bear fruit in how we treat our neighbors. Caring for people experiencing poverty, welcoming immigrants, challenging discrimination, and protecting creation are expressions of our commitment to follow Jesus.
For those who have experienced rejection or disappointment in a church, finding a spiritual home may take time. We welcome that journey with patience, recognizing that trust grows through listening, compassion, and consistent care. Our invitation is to come, worship with us, ask your questions, and discover whether this community helps you grow in love of God and neighbor.
At Abiding Presence Faith Community, we express that invitation simply: “All Are Welcome! All Belong!” We seek to make those words a lived promise, so that each person who enters finds a place at the table and an opportunity to help others experience Christ’s love.
