🏈 Winter Haven Youth Football League

Since the 1960s, Winter Haven Youth Football League has been a cornerstone of our community, providing young athletes with the opportunity to learn, grow, and compete in the game we all love. It has been our privilege to serve generations of players, watching them develop not only as athletes but as individuals, building friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. However, after much deliberation, we must now close this chapter and say goodbye.
The Board Members, who have dedicated over 20 years of volunteer service to this league, made this difficult decision due to rising costs and the decline in coaching and volunteer participation. While many of you have been unwavering in your commitment, the challenges we faced have unfortunately made it impossible to continue. Though this is a heartbreaking moment, we are grateful for every player, coach, parent, and supporter who has been part of this journey. We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for the many memories, lessons, and friendships we have gained.
We encourage our athletes to continue pursuing their passion for football and finding new opportunities to thrive. We wish you all the very best, and we are very confident the future holds great things for you. Thank you for being part of our story—our time together may be ending, but the memories and impact of Winter Haven Youth Football League will remain forever!

Teams can resume practice on Thursday, 10/17, and we will pick the remainder of our season game schedule starting the following Monday, 10/21.
We will be providing an amended game schedule later in the week.
Please share this in order to reach as many families as possible.
