Food Gardening Opportunity!

Do you want to learn about how to take more control of your food?

The Community Garden would like to invite you to either of our two seed starting get togethers this week. We will be learning about starting seeds and starting some for our shared garden. The event is free to all Lake Ashton residents and their guests.
We will gather in the HFC craft room. You can choose between Monday 9/21 at 6 pm, or Thursday 9/24 at 10 am.

In addition, there will be an opportunity to create a small take home, kitchen window planter suitable for lettuce or herbs. We will provide the seeds, soil and container.
$5 for members, $10 for non-members
Number available will depend on attendance.

But wait, there’s more!
Receive the membership price by signing up during the event. If you sign up $40 (or current members renew $20,) get the rest of the year for free. That’s an additional 3 months bonus. You will also avoid any increase in 2027 dues.
