Hello, Riders. Our Ride for Saturday will be with AMVETS 44 out of Plant City. Meet at Post 8 at 8:45 Saturday morning with KSU at 9:00. It will take us approximately an hour to ride to Post 44. Please show up with a full tank of gas. Hope to see you Saturday.

Today, many of our American Legion Riders Chapter 8, along with several other ALR Chapters and groups, escorted Major Khork as he was laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. We honor you, your service, and your dedication, Major Khork. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Our Young Rider Member, Wesley, (grandson to Donnie and Joyce Sills) needs your vote to win America's Favorite Student. Winning not only gives him bragging rights but includes a scholarship. Wesley is always ready to volunteer when he can at our events and is truly an upstanding young man. Please take a minute to vote for Wesley and show your support - polls open soon.

My son is a gifted student who aspires to be an aerospace engineer when he grows up. He is a fast learner and cares for everyone.

The stats are in for our Wreaths Across America fundraising efforts last year.

American Legion Riders Chapter 8 Winter Haven ranked 28th in the State for wreaths donated and 384th Nationwide. Those are HUGE accomplishments!!! Thank you for your support. Can't wait to do it again this year.
