Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress.
At Habitat for Humanity of East Polk County, we believe everyone deserves a safe, stable, and affordable place to call home. As we reflect on the significance of this day, we remain committed to helping build stronger communities where families have the opportunity to thrive.
We honor the history, contributions, and achievements of those who have endured and advanced the long journey toward freedom, and we recognize the importance of continuing to create pathways to opportunity for all.
Happy Juneteenth.
