Orange County has designated cooling locations available throughout the community, offering access to air-conditioned spaces, water, cooling centers, and other heat-relief resources.

Please share this information with anyone who may need assistance staying safe during periods of extreme heat. Together, we can help protect our neighbors and ensure everyone has access to life-saving resources.

We simply had the BEST day at Oakland Farmers Market!✨ We cheered on kiddos in the Bike Parade, signed up families for Westly’s Splash Challenge, and enjoyed goodies from local vendors. It can’t get better than this 🫶🏽

The bidding was fierce, but that’s no surprise when you put a few triathlon ladies in a room! 😄

They came ready to compete and Coach Stephanie, Tracy, Meri, Rachel, and Becky went home with prizes, some beautiful purses and even a beach getaway! 🏖️

Once the live auction wrapped up, a few more fabulous bags found loving homes as well.

We’re so proud of our Winter Garden Tri Club ladies for coming out to support Polka Dogz Pet Rescue Purses for Paws and helping make a difference for some very deserving pups. 🐶

It sounds like another girls’ night out may be needed soon so everyone can show off their winning bags! 😉

A big thank you to Orange County, Florida Government Medical Clinic for leading our CPR Community Connections class this week with life-saving demonstrations! Our attendees will now be more confident in jumping into action if they ever encounter a medical emergency. Stay tuned for more Community Connections classes to come!

Our team got a sneak peek at the progress of the Tucker Ranch Holistic Health, Wellness, Teaching Farm and Family Activity Center! 🌿

Healthy West Orange is proud to support this project, which is an addition to the existing playground, nature trails, picnic areas, and launch for canoes and kayaks. It was wonderful to stroll along the new walking paths through edible and teaching gardens, outdoor teaching kitchen, labyrinth, boardwalk, retreat center for programming and classes, outdoor fitness equipment, and a greenhouse. 🥭👨🏽‍🍳🏋🏻‍♀️ There are so many peaceful spots to sit, relax, and watch pollinators at work. 🐝 We cannot wait for our community to explore this beautiful addition to the park ✨this fall!✨
