With heavy hearts, we are preparing to say goodbye to the girls at Crossline Farm. Our goats are being sold tomorrow morning to a new family. We welcome anyone that would like to stop by today to say goodbye! We have loved making memories with them over the past 6 months, but it's time to turn our attention to other areas of the farm. Thank you to everyone that has volunteered your time and energy to care for them while they were here!

Barbie lost her collar, I searched around the pen and couldn't find it. As I was leaving I noticed a goat chewing at something caught in the fence... It was Barbie letting me know her collar was right here all along and she wanted it back on 💜🐐

I know it's been awhile since we had a Pepper update but she is all healed and back to normal.
But unfortunately she did not quaily for the high jump at this year's Olympics. She maybe a goat but she just isn't the G.O.A.T.
Maybe in 4 years she can try again.

The new collars have come in for the girls. I know they hope to see a lot of new faces today. Come on by and say Hi 🐐

Today I let the girls into the next paddock while I cleaned up their current one, it's a beautiful day on the farm!
I offered blueberries to the ladies and Dahlia, Daisy, and Barbie enjoyed them while Rosie and Shakira continue to prefer my beach chair 🤣 🧡🐐

Pepper Update: After a rough start to the day our girl good some amazing treatment from Dr Kara. She had some bad lacerations (which I will exclude those pics) but they have been cleaned and bandaged up. She also got some good pain meds from the Doc
Still has some recovering to do but she seems to be on her way.

Please pray for our girl, Pepper. She got herself caught on the fence by her back legs, guessing she tried to jump it. We still aren't sure of how bad her legs are just yet. Luckily we already had a Goat Vet who was coming this afternoon to check on the girls and help Kara (our Vet) with knowledge on how to care for them since she hasn't treated goats before.

Pepper "Pep" is especially special to me cause she is the one I got to name.
