We’ve just returned from an unforgettable two weeks in Ghana 🇬🇭🌍

Myself and Rachel were lucky enough to take part in a National Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs volunteering trip with Projects Abroad, spending our time volunteering in schools and on farms.

We met some incredible people, made lots of new friends and created memories that will last a lifetime. It was an amazing experience from start to finish, and one we’ll never forget! ❤️

We’d definitely encourage anyone thinking about going on a National Young Farmers trip to go for it – you won’t regret it! 🌍✈️

Proud to support Staindrop Young Farmers Public with our gig last weekend at Scarth Memorial Hall, Staindrop, and thank you to Making Plans as well. TOGETHER we raised £365, here's me handing over the cheque to Rachel from the Club today who said "The funds will help us to continue to subsidise the national membership fee to maintain our 90 young members and also will help with Club clothing - thank you".

⭐️NORTHERN AREA STOCKMAN 2026⭐️

A huge congratulations to our 12 County Durham members who travelled to Clitheroe Auction Mart to compete in the Northern Area Stockman Competition, 9 members were from Staindrop!

We are incredibly proud and even came away with some prizes!

🏆 1st Overall Senior Stockman – Rachel Atkinson (Staindrop)

🥈 Junior Dairy (Individual)– Ruby (Staindrop)

🥈 Senior Beef (Individual)– Rachel Atkinson (Staindrop)

🥉 3rd Overall Junior Stockman– Ruby (Staindrop)

🥉 Junior Beef (Individual)– Anna (Staindrop)

🥉 Junior Team Stock Judging – Ruby, Ruth, Anna & Lydia

🥉 Senior Team Stock Judging– Rachel, Harriette, Alex & Laura

🏆2026 Rally Day Hosts and WINNERS!🏆

A huge well done to all members and clubs who competed yesterday, the standard of competition was fantastic!

Thanks to all of our judges and stewards who helped to make the day run smoothly, we really appreciate your help and support in club.

Our biggest thanks goes to our Rally Hosts, Bob and Davinia, your kindness and generosity meant our Rally day could be such a success, not to mention all of the invaluable knowledge and experience you passed onto us during the preparation
