Are you the parent of a rising 7th-12th grade student attending WS Prep or who lives in NE or East Winston? Need to get them plugged in for a summer program? Check out Lit City’s Freedom School! It’s a FREE 6 week program (June 16-July 25) geared towards academic enrichment, leadership development, & the freedom of our people. Committed students receive a weekly stipend for participation & go on weekly field trips like college tours, ropes course, hiking, skating, amusement park, etc.

We are excited to announce an upcoming Community Listening Session in partnership with the Fostering Diverse Schools Project for Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools! The Ministers' Conference of Winston-Salem & Vicinity is sponsoring this important event, where we aim to hear from YOU – parents, family, students, and community members.
The district’s goal is to update residential school boundaries, which haven’t been updated in over 30 years, and to improve transportation for students. We need your input to ensure that all voices are heard, and your feedback will help guide the decisions that shape our schools.

Date: Thursday, December 5th, 6:00 - 7:30 PM
Location: Carl H Russell Community Center, 3521 Carver School Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27105
