What a time we had with Sethos Temple #170 and Al Khattab Temple No. 201 2023 Joint Jubilee Day Service. We are greatful for the support from the Daughters of Sethos Court #105 and Al Khattab Court No. 180 celebrating Jubilee Day with us.

PP Nino Hickman and PP Charles Carter provided a song for us as well and Noble Rev. Richard Johnson message was right on time!

Annually on the Sunday closest to June 3rd, Jubilee Day is celebrated by AEAONMS Shrine Temples (Prince Hall Shriners) to commemorate the historic decision rendered by the US Supreme Court on June 3, 1929 affirming the right for African American’s to belong to the Mystic Shrine. This decision brought an end to a 15 year legal battle across the country that attempted to discredit and end the ability of African American Shriners from enjoying the same rights and privileges of the organization as our Caucasian counterparts. On this day each year, Prince Hall Shriners remember those who sacrificed and fought with tenacity, fortitude and unsullied perseverance in the face of legal and financial adversity to ensure that our organization survived and we have the right and ability to work practice the principles of Shrinedom, regardless of the color of our skin.
