At the The Really Really Free Market - Winston-Salem you can find everything AND the kitchen sink! You can even find your muscles!

It was a great one! Thanks, as always, to Mothership Studios, Winston-Salem for hosting. Thanks to all the folks who helped sort and put out donations, helped keep the piles of chaos in check, and helped box things up at the end of the day and haul it all away.

The Really REALLY Free Market is a community effort and so many wonderful folks stepped up to help out. It couldn't happen without you Lillie Bailey Morris, Amanda Mary DunnMoore , Dena Cook Moore, Gabby Cardall, Sarah Kathairine Girard, Rebecca Mills, Denise Weldon-Siviy and Camel City United Indivisible -Events, Melissa Brown and WS Mutual Aid Community, and others whose whole names I don't know. (Sorry 'bout that. I'll learn them eventually.)

It's Really REALLY Free Day! YAY!!!

Did you know that the Really REALLY Free Market originated as a form of protest? So even though it's fun, it has a serious message: there is no such thing as scarcity. Capitalism is the source of excessive waste and misery and those of us at the The Really Really Free Market - Winston-Salem feel that people are more important than profits. We also want to be kinder to our environment. Building community by sharing resources while simultaneously reducing waste is greater than competition and environmental destruction, in our minds. So while you're having fun donating goods, looking for goods AND picking up new skills, remember that you are also helping to make a better world. Thank-you! See you soon!

If all you want to do is drop stuff off, feel free to do so and skadoodle! We take care of the leftovers at the end of the Market.
