Shining Through the Storm is collecting gently used or new jackets and coats of all sizes to help those in need in Western North Carolina!

Donations will be delivered to The Blessing Project, where they’ll go directly to individuals and families facing cold weather without proper clothing.

✅ All sizes welcome – toddler to adult

• Sunless Body Spray Tan Studio- both locations

Hurricane Helene took everything from Jerry—his truck, camper, and all of his personal belongings. In the aftermath, he has fought to rebuild, holding onto hope despite overwhelming challenges.

After the storm, Jerry was given a bike, which eventually led him to the Blessing Barn. Thanks to The Blessing Project, he has received essential supplies like a hot tent, sleeping bags, propane, and food—lifelines that have not only helped him survive but have also benefited others experiencing homelessness.

However, Jerry faces a major obstacle: he has no land to place a shed or camper. His best path forward is securing a van—a safe place to sleep, store his belongings, and, most importantly, regain his independence by getting back to work.

We are committed to helping Jerry take this next step, but we need your support. Every donation, no matter the amount, brings us closer to providing him with the stability and security he needs to rebuild his life.
