It is apparent this site needs attention. I opened the site at the request of the former association president, Patricia Billings. With me having been away for some time, coupled with the death of Mrs Billings, I have been negligent as owner/keeper of the site.
Several times recently, it has been suggested that I change the site description. The current description was chosen from a list provided by Facebook. I think it serves the site well and accurately, and I see no need for change. That is not to say the current description is the best. It might well not be.
I am open to suggestions for a different and better description of the site so long as the suggestions are accompanied with a detailed explanation as to why they would be better. Also, I see no need to entertain suggestions from those who are not members of the association. Having been inactive with the association for some time, my list of members and their profiles is certainly outdated.
I have no expertise in the building and maintaining of a web site. If you are an association member with a genuine interest in the improvement and expansion of this site, I welcome your thoughts and ideas. While I will not make description changes due to a mere suggestion, I am in hopes there is one or more association members with whom I can collaborate on this and other matters concerning this site.
If you are an association member, have at least some knowledge of web site building and maintenance, and would like to collaborate with me in an effort to give this site the much needed attention it deserves, I sincerely invite you to message me here. Introduce yourself. Tell me what changes you would like to see in this site. Tell me what you can do to help bring these changes about.
Please, I do not need more suggestions for site description changes. I do need the help of someone who will work with me to get this site where it should be.
As for the request for a current phone number, I will not share my phone number with anyone who doesn't at least message me telling me why they need my number.
