Triad Woodcarvers Club

Triad Woodcarvers Club We are a group of dedicated wood carvers who want to promote the art of woodcarving to adults and youth above the age of 13. We now have about 120 members.

We offer instruction in all aspects of our craft in addition to painting our carvings. We also offer fellowship with each other. We are a club that benefits and promotes the art of wood carving. Our club was established on 31 August 2009 with 17 members. We invite all former members to return to our membership. Triad Woodcarvers meet every Monday from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Miller Park Community Ce

It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear founder and long time member Tim Trudgeon passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Tim was a great friend and taught countless numbers of people how to carve in his lifetime. He will be remembered fondly for his humor, wisdom and the talent that he so readily shared. We will miss seeing him every week at club meetings and will always cherish the legacy he created in starting the Triad Woodcarvers Club.

Get ready for some summer fun! Our annual club picnic is TODAY, Monday, June 23rd, at 5:30 PM at the Miller Park Recreation Center.
Don't forget to bring your favorite side dish to share and your own beverage! The Club has everything else covered.

Get ready for an exciting month! Here's what's happening:

🎨 June Project Focus: Red-tailed Hawk Feather Carving!
Throughout the month, Stewart Hodges will be guiding us and sharing techniques for carving a beautiful Red-tailed Hawk feather during our regular carving sessions. Bring your tools and enthusiasm!

Monday, June 23rd @ 5:30 PM: Annual Club Picnic! 🧺☀️
Join us at Miller Park Recreation Center for our annual picnic!

The club provides: Meat, plates, napkins, and utensils.
Members please bring: A side dish or dessert to share.
