The Next Step Alumni - Forsyth County We are a group of alumni representing The Stepping Up Initiative of Forsyth County, NC.

Our mission is to provide support, information, and resource awareness for members of The Stepping Up Initiative as well as prospective members who may also benefit.

NAMI NW Piedmont has added two additional days for the Connection Support Group. Sundays and Thursday @ 6:30pm.
Registration is required.

Thursday CSG group is open to all attendees. Sunday CSG are specifically for Young Adults ages 20-40.

Join us for this year's Age-Friendly Conference (formerly the Quality Aging Conference), on Oct. 13 from 9 a.m.–3 p.m. at the Intergenerational Center for Arts & Wellness, 114 W. 30th Street in Winston-Salem.

This free event, hosted by Senior Services Age-Friendly Forsyth and Forsyth County Health and Human Services, is designed to give seniors and caregivers resources and information on living independently and maintaining the highest quality of life possible.

Topics range from physical/mental health to home safety and much more. Enjoy an included lunch, snacks, vendors, and demonstrations/services.

A Spanish track is also available.

Fun Fest will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the new Highland Avenue Park, 642 Highland Ave. The event will feature free food, a job fair, games, raffles, voter registration, music, kids' activities, flu vaccinations, STD testing, fire truck and ambulance tours, sheriff vehicle display, information on benefits and services, and more!
