Triad Community Band will host a swing concert to benefit Crisis Control Ministry. The concert will be held at Rural Hall Moravian Church and scheduled to begin at 7pm. Admission is free. We ask that you bring canned/non-perishable donations to support our client-choice food pantries in Winston-Salem and Kernersville. 🎼🎶🥫🍽️

Established in the summer of 1987, Crisis Control Ministry’s Pharmacy was the first licensed free pharmacy in North Carolina. Today, it is one of the largest charitable pharmacies in Forsyth County that serves uninsured and underinsured individuals and Medicaid members. 💚💙💛💜

In 2025, due to the increase in need and partnership with other non-profits in the community, the pharmacy helped more clients than ever, filling more than 20,000 prescriptions. To help ensure our neighbors do not have to choose between their medication and other essential needs, Crisis Control Ministry invites you to assist our neighbors and support our charitable pharmacy by making a donation. 🥰

Because of the gifts you give, thousands of Forsyth and Stokes County residents, who are experiencing a crisis, are assisted with their medications each year. When you donate today, your gift may be matched by an anonymous donor who believes everyone should not be stuck choosing between their medication and other essential needs. Every gift designated to the pharmacy this summer will be matched up to $100,000.

Today the pharmacy serves residents in Forsyth and Stokes Counties who need prescription medications and cannot afford them. Crisis Control Ministry’s Pharmacy also serves residents with Medicaid and those who do not have health insurance with prescription coverage or are underinsured. 🥰

👉Serve as an advocate for clients as you collect their information and help determine their crisis
👉Serve families by helping prepare our grocery store and walk with clients as they shop for food
👉Help fill orders and provide assistance to clients as they receive their medication

Volunteer shifts align with our client service hours of operation. We ask potential volunteers to commit to helping every week for a 3-hour volunteer shift. Group volunteer opportunities also available. 🥰

Founded in 1973, Crisis Control Ministry was built upon the idea of neighbors helping neighbors. Since then, it has grown to be the largest nonprofit provider of short-term emergency assistance serving Forsyth and Stokes Counties. 💚💙💛💜

Many individuals have played a role in establishing and growing Crisis Control Ministry, including our founder and first executive director, Rev. Ron Rice. Today, we reflect on some of his wise words captured during his time leading our organization. 🥰
