We invite you to become an advocate and seek to truly understand the realities of poverty by attending a Poverty Simulation. ❤️‍🩹

🌟 During the simulation, participants assume the roles of up to 26 different families facing poverty. The task for each family is to provide basic necessities and shelter during four 15-minute weeks, while balancing the requirements of various service providers with the realities of daily life.

Founded in 1987, today Crisis Control Ministry’s pharmacy serves residents in Forsyth and Stokes Counties who need prescription medications and cannot afford them. Our pharmacy serves residents with Medicaid and those who do not have health insurance with prescription coverage. 🥰

🌟 Every gift designated to the pharmacy this summer will be matched up to $100,000 thanks to a generous gift from a private donor who believes everyone should not be stuck choosing between their medication and other essential needs.

💗 Every third Saturday through September, you can support Crisis Control Ministry’s Client Choice Food Pantries by making donations to the Donation Station at Cobblestone Farmers Market. A collaboration with NC Cooperative Extension, the Donation Station Program seeks to improve access to fresh, locally grown food while supporting the farmers who grow it.
