Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem Auxillary was chartered Feb 17th, 1991. For 35 years we have supported the Winston-Salem community by following the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Scholarship, Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. Today we honor the committment of our charter members and the legacy we will continue to build.

Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem is proud to stand with our Finer Friends of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc- Rho Zeta Chapter for this very important Community Awareness Event. 🩵💙💜

The Rho Zeta Chapter and Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem are committed to helping our community have healthy babies. We had the privilege of hosting Prematurity Awareness at Exodus United Baptist on Nov 9th. We also worked in service to give to our local Bethesda Center who cater to our unhoused.

One in every ten babies is born too soon in our country. The rate is even higher for African-American women. The preterm birth rate for Black women in North Carolina is nearly 50% higher than other women; with Winston-Salem holding the highest rate in Forsyth county.

We need to change this. Together we can help more babies be born healthy and strong.

It's August and Finer Things are just getting started. 💙🩵

Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem joined our friends in Royal Blue & White as we gave back with students in mind.

August 8th: We supported our Finer Friends of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc- Rho Zeta Chapter at their scholarship fundraising event at Mayberry's Restaurant; then on August 10th, we participated in a joint Book Bag Giveaway with The Rho Zeta Chapter and The Delta Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity. Inc.

We gave out hundreds of bookbags filled with school supplies, and provided good food and snacks to those in the Oak Summit community. We wish all the students well wishes as they begin to start a new school year.

Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem mourns the loss of our President, Friend, and Rho Zeta Chapter's 2025 Zeta Amicae of the Year, Charlene Roseboro. Her leadership and friendship for over 25 years impacted us all and will forever leave a void in our hearts. She will be forever missed and honored in all that we do. 🩵💙

On Saturday, March 15, Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem joined our Finer Friends of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc- Rho Zeta Chapter for a Car Care Maintenance workshop with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity's Sherman Simmons, at his business, Platinum Auto Detailing and Hand Car Wash. We learned many valuable tips and enjoyed the fellowship. Looking forward to Part 2! 🩵💙

On February 17th, 1991, Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem Auxiliary was chartered by 11 trailblazing women: Sally Bailey, Evalena Clayborn, Sarah Elder, Mary McGriff, Linda Pompey, Bessie Rhyne, Elizabeth Speight, Dorothy Spencer, Thelma Taylor, Ruby Walker and Fostina West.

Yesterday, Zeta Amicae of Winston-Salem was proud to volunteer at the 47 Miles For H.O.P.E. Run.

We assisted our Finer Friends of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc- Rho Zeta Chapter with registration.

The 47 Miles For H.O.P.E. Run allowed the Winston-Salem community to complete a 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K, 10K, or the Full 47 Mile Relay.

It was a beautiful day for community service. 🩵💙
