This semester, we kicked off our fundraising for Operation KARE with a bang, already raising 27% of our goal.

This project with the Independence Fund aims to provide a track chair for a wounded veteran that they can use to increase mobility and participate in activities that people in normal wheelchairs can't.

Thanksgiving is approaching, so its time to give back! This semester, the brothers of the Tau chapter decided that we want to give back to the custodial staff on campus!

We will be providing gift cards to our Poteat Hall custodians, who have been working on our Kappa Alpha housing block for the past 5+ years.

They keep our space clean, and are some of the most friendly people on earth. Anything counts, from 5-10$, and we are so grateful if you choose to contribute.

Happy Belated Halloween and Parents Weekend!

We wanted to thank all of our parents for coming out this weekend! We had a great time at the tailgate, game, and afterwords at Campus Gas!

This past week at Project Pumpkin, Tau Brothers Connor McHugh, Kieran Storch, and William Verneris shot hoops, and played mini basketball with Winston-Salem youth from The Freedom School.

We’re restarting the TAU weekly update, so expect to hear from us every Monday.

TAU Update #1
We are proud to announce that this semester the Tau Chapter has raised $3,484 for the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund at Hit The Bricks, ranking second in the fraternity division. See current #2 Adrian Gutierrez, Class of 2022, running laps on the upper quad.

Additionally, brothers participated in A Climb To Remember on September 11th, an event with ROTC, in which participants climbed 2,996 steps at BB&T Field to mark each life lost on that day.

Every Saturday, brothers have been going to Wake Saturdays, a club where we make sandwiches and serve lunch to the homeless in downtown Winston-Salem.

We know we haven’t been vocal in the recent past, but we’d love to hear from all of our alumni. So reach out and send a message, tell us about your experience at Wake Forest.

We are pleased to announce that Tau chapter has received the KA Scholastic Excellence Award (For Fall 2015) and the Academic Achievement Award (For Spring 2016) for maintaining a chapter GPA of 3.25 and above!

The Tau Chapter was represented at this year's Province Council in Charlotte, NC by your 2017 Tau Exec Board. We had a great time planning for the upcoming year and meeting fellow KA's from all across the province. Tau Chapter's own Donovan Yeni (Tau '18) was elected Province Undergraduate Chairman (PUC) for the upcoming year. What a great start for an excellent year to come!
