Representation matters. And authentic representation matters even more. 💙

Tal Anderson’s Emmy nomination for The Pitt is a powerful reminder of what can happen when autistic stories are told with authenticity, nuance and lived experience.

Autistic people deserve more than stories that simply “include” them. They deserve to see the full range of their experiences, voices, personalities and dreams reflected on screen—and to have those stories celebrated.

From acceptance to appreciation, we’re excited to see the conversation around authentic autistic representation continue to grow.
