🌈 We loved spending the day at Winston-Salem Pride!

Several members of our team had the joy of walking in the parade and celebrating alongside friends and neighbors from across our city. Seeing so many people come together was a beautiful reminder of the love and acceptance that make Winston-Salem such a special place to call home. ✨

✨ Save the dates for Kaleideum's 2026 Exceptional Night at the Museum! ✨

Join us for the upcoming Exceptional Night on June 18th for "Jump Into Summer", a sensory-friendly evening featuring a rooftop bubble dance party, water play in Wonders of Water, summer art, and exciting games! 💦

Exceptional Night at the Museum is a series of sensory-friendly evenings designed for children and adults with disabilities, along with their families and caregivers, to experience Kaleideum in a quieter, more supportive environment. These inclusive events foster comfort, connection, and joy for all.

Thanks to the support of ABC of NC and Felice Brenner, Exceptional Night is a Give What You Can admission event.

This special campaign highlights the passion and dedication of the people who make ABC of NC's mission possible each day. Our staff and supporters came together to make a meaningful impact on the individuals and families we serve.

The splash pad was taking a minute to warm up, so we created our own fun! 💙

These smiles say it all! We caught some precious moments today while eagerly waiting for the splash pad to open, proving that joy is found in the little things—and sometimes in a bucket of water. 💦

A special shoutout to our Facilities team, who make our splash pad dreams come true, and to our incredible Registered Behavior Technicians, who bring joy and creativity to every moment. ☀️

This month, we're excited to recognize one of our core team members, Joerrel Mathews!

Over the past several years, Joerrel has brought kindness, compassion, and positivity to everything he does. His lighthearted nature and uplifting spirit make him a joy to be around, and his dedication to the individuals and families we serve shines through each day.
