Our local YMCA association has been serving Winston-Salem and the surrounding areas since 1888.

We have created a tradition of enhancing the lives of people in our community through an ever-growing list of programs and opportunities. We serve the residents of 6 counties in Northwest North Carolina, including Alexander, Foryth, Davie, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Yadkin and Wilkes, with 15 branches and Camp Hanes.

Through our annual Bright Beginnings program, the YMCA provides children with the school supplies and clothing they need to return to school ready to learn and thrive.
