Undergraduates, graduate fellows, and early-career professionals — apply for the Randy Harelson Scholarship Fund and join us at the 42nd SGHS Annual Meeting in Colonial Williamsburg, April 10–12!
🌳 Since 1983, the SGHS spring meeting has united garden lovers, scholars, and professionals with lectures, guided tours of historic and private gardens, and networking opportunities in landscape history, preservation, and horticulture. This year's meeting takes place in the heart of Colonial Williamsburg, coinciding with the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Attendees will immerse
themselves in the lives of colonists as they explore the world’s largest living history museum, viewing original buildings, restored gardens, and interacting with costumed interpreters.
Who’s eligible:
➡️Undergraduate Scholarship: 3rd–5th year students in relevant majors
➡️James R. Cothran Graduate Fellowship: graduate students with relevant research
➡️Young Professional Grant: professionals within ~5 years of starting their career
Recipients receive a $1,000 travel and lodging stipend, complimentary
meeting registration, and a two-year SGHS membership.
