🌸 Please join us in welcoming our new Administrative Coordinator, Daisy Pineda, to the Pivot family! 🌸

Daisy is a devoted wife, mom, fitness instructor, and small business owner with a heart for helping others live healthier lives while growing in their faith. She is passionate about creating opportunities for women and youth to build confidence, community, and strength through fitness and encouragement.

Daisy shares that her relationship with God has transformed many areas of her life and continues to guide both her personal and professional journey. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve with Pivot and be part of a ministry that helps women discover hope, healing, and purpose.

We are excited to have Daisy join our team and look forward to the impact she will make in the lives of the women we serve. Welcome to Pivot, Daisy! 💜✨

As Pivot Ministry prepares for another impactful year of programming, we're looking for compassionate individuals who are ready to make a lasting difference.

Through life-changing classes and meaningful one-on-one mentoring, Pivot Ministry empowers women experiencing low income with the tools, confidence, and support they need to pursue brighter futures at home, in the workplace, and within their communities.

We are currently recruiting mentors for the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 semesters.

Mentor Training will take place over two Saturdays:
📍August 8 | Calvary Southside (2009 Peachtree Street)

Learn about our Becoming a Totally Responsible Person and LifeKeys curricula.

📍August 22 | Ardmore Baptist Church (501 Miller Street)

Complete Volunteer Orientation and the remaining mentor training sessions.

Attending mentor training is an opportunity to experience the heart of Pivot Ministry with no obligation to serve. Throughout the training, you'll learn how to encourage women through prayer, help them identify and achieve personal goals, connect them with valuable community resources, reinforce the concepts taught in class, and ensure every participant feels seen, heard, supported, and empowered.

✨ VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT ✨

This month, we are proud to spotlight Denise Daniel for her dedication and service through PIVOT.

Denise is a Minister and Pastoral Director at St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center, as well as a proud mother and grandmother. She first connected with PIVOT after meeting former Program Director Carol Polk at a community health fair and was immediately inspired by the organization’s mission.

Since then, Denise has served as a Bible Study teacher and now volunteers as a PIVOT PLUS mentor, helping encourage and support women in the program.

Denise shares:
“I have seen women come out of their shell and just blossom because of PIVOT.”

Thank you, Denise, for your servant leadership and commitment to uplifting our community. 💜

⭐️ Flash Back Friday ⭐️

On May 15, Pivot Ministry proudly celebrated our Spring 2026 Graduation at St. Peter's Church and World Outreach Center!

It was an inspiring evening as we recognized four remarkable women who have dedicated themselves to personal growth, professional development, and the creation of new opportunitie for their futures. Throughout their journey with Pivot, these graduates gained valuable skills, built confidence, and strengthened their belief in what is possible.

Our graduates and guests were challenged and encouraged by a powerful keynote message from Dr. Timoji Jackson, whose words served as a motivating reminder that success is not simply about where you start, but about the courage, determination, and resilience you bring to the journey.

As these women take their next steps, we celebrate all they have accomplished and look forward to the impact they will make in their families, workplaces, and communities.

Congratulations to our Spring 2026 graduates! Your Pivot family is cheering you on every step of the way!
