Dress for Success Winston-Salem was organized in 2008 by Glynis W. Dress for Success empowers women to economic independence by providing professional attire and employment training -- all at no coast to our guests. We offer career help with resume writing, mock interviews and access to online job searches. We rely entirely on donations of cash, clothing,

accessories, and other resources from the local community to operate. We receive no government or United Way agency funds. We rely on YOU and we are so very grateful for it! To volunteer or donate, please email or call, [email protected] or 336-970-0374.

We know that teachers' pay is a struggle -- yet they invest in others every day. Teachers give so much, yet often receive so little. That's why we're launching the Heart of Education award -- an opportunity to invest in them.

We celebrate female educators who inspire confidence and empower future leaders.

Dress for Success Winston-Salem believes teacher appreciation matters because educators do far more than teach lessons—they build confidence, expand possibilities, and help shape future workforces. With these awards, we celebrate female educators who empower the next generation headed to economic independence and personal success.
