BPI is investing $159,190 in 11 Black-led organizations working to strengthen education, economic mobility, and community resilience across Forsyth County.

Through our combined Advancing Equity in Education and Building an Inclusive Economy grant cycle, these organizations are expanding access to learning, creating pathways to economic opportunity, supporting families, and helping build long-term prosperity in our community.

Congratulations to our 2026 grant recipients.

BPI volunteers don't just support the work, they help move it forward. 👏🏾

Through committee service, volunteers get a front row seat to Black-led community grantmaking by helping make decisions about grant investments, grow resources, and build relationships that strengthen Black communities across Winston-Salem.

BPI is a space where volunteers can bring their full, authentic selves while connecting with others who are committed to collective impact, shared leadership, and lasting change.

Join us for the BPI Volunteer Interest Meeting on Tuesday, August 4 from 12:00–1:00 PM to learn more about committee opportunities and how you can get involved.
