💗 It’s a great day at the Community Care Clinic! 💗
The Novant Health Mobile Mammography bus is in the CCC parking lot today, bringing an important preventive health service directly to our patients! 🎀
We are incredibly grateful to Novant Health for partnering with us to provide mammograms for our uninsured patients right here at their medical home.
Removing barriers to care means making essential screenings more accessible to the people who need them. Partnerships like this help us fulfill our mission of providing compassionate, high-quality healthcare while giving our patients convenient access to potentially life-saving preventive care.
A huge THANK YOU to Novant Health and the Mobile Mammography team for investing in the health of our patients and our community! 💕🩺

🌍 August 18 is World Breast Cancer Research Day 💗

Today, we recognize the researchers, healthcare professionals, advocates, survivors, and supporters working to advance breast cancer research and improve outcomes for millions of people around the world.

Research has led to earlier detection, better treatments, and increased survival rates—but there is still more work to do. By supporting research, encouraging regular screenings, and raising awareness, we can help create a future with fewer lives affected by breast cancer.

At the Community Care Clinic, we believe that access to preventive care and early detection can save lives. If you're due for a breast cancer screening or have questions about your breast health, talk with your healthcare provider about what's right for you.

Together, we can support hope, advance research, and work toward a world without breast cancer.

💗 Learn. Screen. Support. Share.

Last Thursday, a hallway of Community Care Clinic became a beautiful reflection of 26 years of compassion, service, and community.

We are incredibly grateful to Daggett & Shuler for choosing CCC for their team service project. Together, they created our new Legacy Hallway, thoughtfully hanging portraits of our founders, plaques, awards, newspaper articles, commendations, and other pieces that tell the story of the Clinic’s remarkable journey.

The Legacy Hallway is part of our ongoing clinic improvements and will be a special place for patients, staff, volunteers, donors, and visitors to enjoy. More importantly, it gives us a way to share the story of the people, partnerships, and milestones that have shaped CCC over the past 26 years—and remind us how much can be accomplished when a community comes together to care for its neighbors.

A heartfelt thank you to David Daggett, Griff Shuler, and the entire Daggett & Shuler team for investing your time and talents in Community Care Clinic and, ultimately, in the patients we are privileged to serve.
We can’t wait for you to see the Legacy Hallway on your next visit! 💙

👁️ August is National Eye Exam Month! 👓

Your vision is an important part of your overall health. A comprehensive eye exam can help detect vision problems early—and may even identify health conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, and glaucoma before symptoms appear.

Don't wait until you notice changes in your vision. Make your eye health a priority by scheduling your annual eye exam today.

At the Community Care Clinic, we're committed to helping our community see a healthier future.

Yesterday we celebrated some incredible people who have strengthened Community Care Clinic through service, compassion, and a commitment to improving the health of our community.

💙 Thank you to our Public Health AmeriCorps Members:
• Sarah MacCune
• Samreen Ahmad
• Christa Shih
• Sara Mendoza

Over the past year, your dedication has helped expand access to care, support our patients, and strengthen the work we do every day. Your service has made a lasting impact on countless lives.

💙 And a special thank you to this summer's Volunteer Interpreters:
• Julia Davis
• Belen Alvarado

This summer, you helped ensure that language is never a barrier to compassionate, high-quality healthcare. By bridging communication between patients and providers, you helped our patients feel heard, understood, and cared for with dignity.

There are so many things these young people could have done this summer. We celebrate them for choosing to share their time, talents, and hearts with Community Care Clinic.
