A huge thank you to Mimi and Alexis from Walgreens Pharmacy! We are so grateful for our continued partnership with Walgreens and everything these ladies do for our patients. Today alone, we served 70 patients with free flu vaccines, and we still have two more vaccine clinics coming up at the end of October and in November. Thank you Mimi, Alexis and Walgreens for joining us in our mission to provide access to high-quality healthcare delivered with compassion, sensitivity and respect. Together, we serve our uninsured patients while also improving the health of our broader community.

WSFCS and Forsyth County Behavioral Health Services Department are presenting 💜🩵 Let’s Talk About Mental Health: Our Youth Are Leading the Conversation.

Come join your community for this Mental Health Community Engagement Event.

In recognition of National Su***de Prevention Month, this important community conversation will focus on changing the narrative, reducing stigma, spreading hope, and raising awareness about su***de prevention and the connections between mental health, opioid use, and other substance use.

🎤 Most importantly, we’ll hear directly from our young people. A panel of high school students from across the district will lead the conversation, sharing their perspectives on how mental health, su***de, and substance use are affecting youth in our community. A Q&A session will follow, giving families and community members an opportunity to listen, learn, ask questions, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Parents, caregivers, educators, youth-serving professionals, faith leaders, community partners, and concerned community members are encouraged to attend.

🥤 Snacks and beverages will be provided.
💜 Mental health and substance-use resources will be available.

Mental health and su***de prevention are not challenges that any one organization, school, provider, or family can address alone. It takes all of us.

Come out on September 29 and show our young people that our community is listening, their voices matter, and we are invested in their well-being. 💜🩵
