From the Comments 💬 How do I apply for affordable housing?

One of the most common questions we saw after the Burton Street Apartments ribbon cutting was: “How do I apply for affordable housing?”

If you’re interested in affordable housing opportunities, contact the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Continuum of Care Coordinated Entry System: 📞 743-264-8102 📧 [email protected]

You can also connect with local housing resources such as ASPIRE, formerly known as Winston-Salem Housing Authority, for information on broader affordable housing programs and services.

Affordable housing remains a priority for Winston-Salem. The Office of Housing Development works to increase affordable housing availability. Affordable housing developments are underway throughout Winston-Salem as part of the City’s 2025-2028 Strategic Plan.

On July 14, ASPIRE Board Chair Chris Leak proudly recognized Mr. George Joyce with induction into the Homeownership Hall of Fame.
