We are ROOTED. Our first Chapel of the new school year was nothing short of inspiring. We love getting to praise HIM together. Our Head of School, Rick Clinard, introduced our middle and high school students to this year's theme, "Rooted," from Colossians 2:6-8, and our High School Praise Band, Pastor Skip and Miss Jackie led us in worship. To add to the excitement of the new year, students enjoyed getting their first glimpse of Salem Baptist Church's summer renovations! Here’s to a year of continuous growing with and for the Lord!

What an incredible turnout! Thanks to our new Defender families who joined us for New Family Night! With more than 100 new students, we had a wonderful group of families with us Thursday.

We'd also like to thank our upperclassmen who helped welcome these precious families. In addition to hearing from Mr. Clinard and their principals, each new Defender took home some SCS swag to jumpstart their new school year!
