The Junior League of Winston-Salem’s (JLWS) BookWORM project aims to promote literacy in our community by helping families gain greater access to books. BookWORM hosts drives to collect new and gently used children’s books from its members and the greater community.

During the Bookmarks 2026 Festival of Books and Authors - BookWORM gave out 350-450 books to kids throughout the day! Getting books directly in to the hands of children in our community.

BookWORM's fall drive is happening now through October 23rd. Drop of new and lightly used children’s books donations at JLWS HQ or Kim Taylor Co in Stratford Village. Can't make it to either location - click the link in our bio to find out other ways to donate!
