TROOP 728 - WS Troop 728 is a traditional BSA Program focused on teaching young men leadership skills and volunteer We are all friends and welcome more friendships.

Our Scouting Program is focused on teaching our Boys Leadership skills and making fun, positive childhood memories. Outdoor skills, volunteerism and pushing past fears (like rock climbing or public speaking) are the main tools we use to encourage our Scouts to grow into the good men we can see them becoming. We are a nonpolitical, spiritual but NON Denominational collection of families and friends

working together to build TROOP 728. The difference between the Troop and Cub programming is simple. The SCOUTS are asked to lead and organize and the Adult leadership of the Troop tries to scaffold that responsibility to meet the boys where they are. The younger the Patrol (Dens) the more adult leadership, the older the Scouts the less. It feels chaotic at times, but that's part of the process of learning to lead.
