Thanks to the WStoday newsletter for pointing out that Washington Park was "the first public park in Winston-Salem. It was initially founded in the 1890s as Sunny Side Park, with walking trails, picnic areas, a baseball and football field, tennis and croquet courts, and space for lakeside recreation. The newsletter also included a link to the park's history. See comments below for the link.

We are proud to partner with this organization! They do wonderful things for our community! Thank you Sunnyside Ministry!

Every day at Sunnyside Ministry, neighbors come together to help neighbors.

Through food assistance, clothing, crisis support, and educational programs, we are working to provide hope and practical help to families across our community.

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission through donations, volunteer service, prayers, and advocacy. Together, we are making a difference one family at a time.
