Operation North State's Peer Fishin' Festival is coming up soon. Lend a hand if you can! Come join us! Five days of wounded warriors/DVets, their respective families and friends, and ONS supporters, volunteers, and believers. CHECK OUT THESE CATCHES - SMILES, HAPPINESS, FELLOWSHIP AND FRIENDS AND NOT A FISH, ROD & REEL OR ANY TACKLE IN SIGHT. It can be done. Now in our 11th year at Oak Island, Southport, and the Brunswick County Community. These photos are from last year's Peer Fishin' Festivals. Folks from all over the state and beyond.

Hello - Special Request - Operation North State is in need of 4 to 5 trial/mountain bikes to give to several wounded warriors/DVets we serve. Over the past 6 years, we have given DVets 4- 6 bikes per year. These bikes have been life-changing for many of these DVets. A few of these wounded warriors/Dvets weigh 210 to 260. They have been asking us for bikes for several months. Their respective doctors want them to start walking, riding bikes, etc for health reasons. Help if you can. Call/text me/Terry at 3364063459 if you have questions or can lend a hand. Donors have been very generous over the past 8 years, donating a lot of quality bikes; however, bike donations have been down the past two years. FYI: we don't give bikes away unless the DVets are truly going to use them and they keep their bike locked up and in a dry storage area. Thanks, Terry FYI, with cash donations, we can purchase bikes at large discounts with a few cycling partners. PLEASE SHARE!

Congrats Gary! Operation North State likes to share news when we hear of ONSers doing great things, especially when it's related to serving their fellow veterans. ONS is honored to have received Gary's support dating back to 2014. Gary has served Operation North State and the wounded warriors/Dvets we serve in many, many ways! Specific to our Peer Fishin' Festival in Oak Island, hosted every October for five days, Gary's support in securing supporters has been huge.

Thanks, Rivers Edge Veterans Association (REVA) and Rivers Edge Golf Club in Shallotte, for once again hosting an Operation North State Foursomes for DVets outing yesterday. Always great times, golf, food, fellowship, and Mother Nature's splendors!

ONS is always in need of other premier golf courses, country clubs, and their members (you) - take time to take time contact ONS regarding hosting some of these DVets - it's life-changing for all involved!

Fun Times at Salem Lake hosting our Monthly Cycling Heals Vets Connect outing. Good crowd - 33 folks! Great fellowship, friendships, and served BBQ lunch today. The guys and gals who hit the 7-mile trail got hot!
