COPA SALEM llega a Winston-Salem este 14 y 15 de noviembre.

Estamos buscando equipos y patrocinadores que quieran ser parte de la primera edición de este nuevo festival comunitario de fútbol.

Además del torneo, Copa Salem contará con una clínica juvenil GRATUITA junto a Charlotte FC y un festival comunitario para familias, organizaciones y negocios locales.

Today we relaunched our summer youth soccer program in partnership with Freedom Schools at Old Town Elementary — this opportunity would not exist without their support. We’re hoping to create a welcoming space for kids to learn soccer, build confidence, make friends and have fun. Another thanks to volunteers like Harrison, a local Mt Tabor HS player, for volunteering and helping make our program day awesome. As we grow, community support helps us provide the equipment, coaching, and space our kids deserve. The Winston-Salem Soccer Association has built something really special. Hundreds of ballers have come together through free soccer, friendships, exercise, and the simple joy of playing the beautiful game. Now we need a little help from the community that makes it all possible. One of our nets recently broke, and we’re raising $600 for replacement nets, soccer balls, and equipment that will serve players for years to come while helping us continue growing the game for youth across Winston-Salem.

We have 350 registered players and a brimming city. If each player and neighbor who sees this post gave just $10, we would reach the goal quickly. If you believe these games have brought you joy, community, or friendships, this is your chance to give back towards something that has poured awesome meaningful into many of us.

Grateful to see what collaboration can make possible. The Winston-Salem Soccer Association recently received a generous donation of athletic socks from New Jerusalem Baptist Church, and through our partnership with Una Bendición Community Center, we’re able to store and distribute these resources where they’re needed most. Today, that meant delivering socks to support the soccer team at Carver High School.

When we align our efforts, we not only meet immediate needs—we begin to build a more connected, responsive system that can better serve our community in the long run.
