What an unforgettable Christmas 2024 at LCS! 🎄 We wrapped up our first semester in the best way possible, celebrating with our families and creating lasting memories. Thanks to Parkway Presbyterian Church and the Angel Tree Project, every child received a special Christmas gift—something they do for us every year! 🎁

Our annual Christmas festival was filled with joy as we shared a delicious meal, enjoyed amazing performances from our students, and were joined by some of our board members. The day was made even more special with families coming together to experience the Christmas Lights Festival at Tanglewood Park, sipping hot chocolate and marveling at the beautiful lights. ✨

A huge thank you to everyone who made this holiday season so special. Your support allows us to continue empowering and uplifting our families. Happy new year and here's to a brighter 2025 ahead! 🌟

✨ We recently hosted another wonderful Ella Brilla gathering, and it was truly a special time for our moms to connect, support one another, and focus on their well-being. 🌸 These moments remind us of the power of community and the strength that comes from uplifting each other. 💖

🌟 A huge thank you to the amazing law school students from WFU who join us every year for service projects! 🙌 This year, their hard work brought our outdoor space to life as they tackled landscaping, worked on our raised beds, and even started the trench for our playground! We truly appreciate your dedication and commitment to supporting our center and the community. 💪🌱

Today, a dream has come true! 🌟 What began in 2021 with the incredible support of our families and Alpha Phi Omega - WFU at Wake Forest University, who helped us raise the funds for a residential playground, is now a reality we can all be proud of! 🙌 This playground represents more than just fun—it’s a symbol of community, love, and hard work. A special thank you to our families and board members, Volunteers from Love CDC RSVP AmeriCorps Seniors, the Cornerstone Volunteer Team from Habitat Forsyth, The Office of Civic & Community Engagement at Wake Forest University and Reynolds American Inc., who sent not one but two teams: HOLA (Hispanic Origin and Latin American) and their I.T. department—through their Community Commitment 2024. 💫 Together, we’ve created a space where our children can dream, play, and grow. Thank you all for making this dream come true! 🎠❤️
