Track 2 of the Dracula sound track is out! Here is the Sound Designer Shane Young’s take 👇🏻

“In Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors, Dracula has power over wolves, among other creatures. In the Novel, Dracula even turns into a wolf, so I thought I should write a song that represents that side of the story.

The comedic element of the title is meant to reflect the show’s humor. I also wanted to incorporate elements of sound design in some of the songs, and this was a perfect opportunity to add wolf howls and some spooky ambience.

The steady driving beat represents the primal heart of the wolf, while the piano dancing through the song represents their whim and freedom.

And of course, the opening melody brings that spookiness that we often associate with creatures roaming the night. To tie it all together, I’ll use a quote from Dracula himself when speaking about the wolves howling outside his castle.”

It’s 1963, and The Little Theatre is growing...🎭🎟️🎶⏰

This is our first week of , where we dive into the Little Theatre archives to show you some gems from the past 💎

This week, we travel back to 1963 when advertising was a bit simpler. Even though the technologies are different, the shows we put on still need volunteers to make them happen!

You can get acquainted with our existing volunteer team in a casual setting at our next volunteer social next Saturday! Come on over and bring a friend to see what we’re all about 🤗
