The Friends of Bill Hayes Bronze Statue and the “Bill and Carolyn Hayes Scholarship Endowment” fund was created to support the design, creation, and er*

***on of a bronze statue in honor of the all-time great, legendary “Hall of Fame” Coach and Athletic Director William "Bill" Hayes, as well as, award scholarships to student-athletes. The proceeds from this fund will support:

1) All costs associated with the design, creation, and installation of a bronze statue of Coach Hayes.
2) An endowed scholarship fund in the name of Bill and Carolyn Hayes.

The Bill & Carolyn Hayes Foundation is calling on community members, local professionals, and anyone who believes in the power of education and legacy to volunteer at our Commemorative 5th Annual Charity Golf Tournament on THIS FRIDAY, May 15, 2026! It's NOT too late!

You do not need golf experience. You need a heart for service and a willingness to show up. Our volunteers help with registration, player coordination, on-course support, and more — and you will leave knowing your time directly helped fund scholarships for HBCU student athletes in our community.
