The Mount Tabor PTSA is pleased to offer $4000 in Scholarships to our students in the areas of Academics, Arts and Trade or Training programs, made possible by our Legacy fundraising campaign and $5000 for the Mike Kneisel and Stan Huck scholarships, which were donated by a former Tabor family who is grateful for their student’s experiences in our school. This year, we received 98 PTSA scholarships applications, which were reviewed and selected by outside committees. Congratulations to the 2026 recipients! 💙💛🎓

On Monday we celebrated at our Senior Awards Ceremony, recognizing students for their hard work, dedication, leadership, and accomplishments over the last four years.
The Class of 2026 continues to make us proud with all they have achieved and all that lies ahead. 🎓

The musical and artistic talent of our Tabor students was on full display at the Spartan Spectacular Art and Talent show last Friday night. A variety of singers and musicians performed while visitors perused the art and the raffle items. Everyone voted on their favorite art from each class and the winners received prizes.

In this activity, Mr. Jimenez’s Spanish 3 students created a handmade book written entirely by them for a 2nd grade student at Speas Elementary School. Working together with the Dual Language teachers at Speas, they gathered information about the children’s interests, and based on that, the students created a personalized book in Spanish for each child.

Later, they visited Speas so that the Tabor students could read and present the books to the children while spending a fun and meaningful time with them. It was a unique experience for both the high school and elementary students through reading, writing, creativity, and connection. 💛
