We are excited to partner with The Lantern Project for a special evening dedicated to celebrating the power of community and the incredible people who make our missions possible!

Join us for Furnishing Hope, a FREE appreciation and awareness event where we will come together to thank our wonderful supporters, connect with new friends, and share how we are making a difference in the lives of children, families, and survivors throughout our community.

24 Miles. 24 Hours. One Community Coming Together for MORE!

On October 24th, Dashiell Hosey and John Daniel will take on the incredible challenge of running one mile every hour for 24 consecutive hours, all to raise funds and awareness for A Bed and A Book!

What started four years ago as one runner's challenge has grown into an amazing tradition of endurance, generosity, and community support. We are so grateful to everyone who has helped make this event possible over the years! đź’™

We are excited to share that 8 of the 24 miles have already been sponsored! That means we still have 16 miles available, and we need YOUR help to reach our goal!

We are looking for businesses, families, and individuals who would like to sponsor a mile and help us continue providing children throughout our community with new beds, bedding, and books.

Every mile sponsored brings us one step closer to giving another child a safe, comfortable place to sleep and a story to dream about.

Each month, we share updates on the number of children on our waitlist, highlights from recent bed deliveries and events, upcoming events, and ways you can help. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, donating, or partnering with us, you’ll find opportunities to support children and families right here in our community.
