New program alert for Winston-Salem residents‼️

Between 2021 and 2022 the rate for crimes involving robbery, aggravated assault, burglary and motor vehicle theft as increased substantially according to public records listed by the City of Winston Salem’s Police Department.

Now imagine this, you’re a resident living within a lower income community, working two jobs. However, despite your efforts, you still can’t afford childcare forcing you to leave your children home for a few hours while you work. Now imagine you live in a community known for its drug and violence. While imagining, consider the fear, concern, worry and doubt you carry with you every minute you’re not home. How much weight of that bolder on your shoulder could be relieved with the simple convenience of a home security system? Childcare is already at an all time high, but should a person have to decide between peace of mind over safety of their children, and paying their water bill? Short answer, they shouldn’t.

For this reason, S4C will be initiating the “Vision of Peace” program offering free home security systems for families with children, and elderly, in need. The program kicks off 📅 February 2023, and applications will begin being accepted January 1, 2023.

This year we will be on the 1’s and 2’s with our young community stars hosting “Kiddie Karaoke: Christmas Edition!” 🎤

Be sure you and your little ones stop by and join in on the fun! 🤩 😊

Each child will be presented with an award after participation because they are ALL STARS! 🌟
