Carolina Honduras Health Foundation

Carolina Honduras Health Foundation CHHF works collaboratively with the community in the Dept. Of course, we need medical professionals to volunteer at our clinics in Honduras.

of Colón, Honduras, to improve overall health via health education, community development, medical referrals, & primary care (medical, dental, vision & pharmaceutical) clinics. Volunteers without medical training can lead teams, assist in the pharmacy, serve as interpreters, etc. Volunteers also participate with various ministry programs including providing Bible studies and helping with maintenan

ce efforts or undertaking construction projects. If you are interested in participating in a mission trip, contact us now. Volunteers can also assist in many other ways without leaving home. Can you help promote the work of CHHF through social media or help raise funds? If you have a skill that may help our mission, contact us to volunteer.

For Yanesis, a glass of clean water isn’t just a basic need. it’s her daily medicine. 💧

For her, even mild dehydration can trigger sudden, excruciatingly painful health crises. Access to clean, safe water is one of her strongest defenses against a hospital stay.

⚠️ TODAY ONLY: YOUR GIFT IS TRIPLED!
Thanks to a generous matching donor, every dollar you give today will be multiplied by 3.

$25 becomes $75 to provide clean water.
$50 becomes $150 to protect children like Yanesis.

Children may be wiggle worms, but they shouldn't have wiggle worms.

As the intense summer heat dries up local streams, rural Hondurans experience a devastating seasonal spike in intestinal parasites. Honduran doctors are currently on strike which makes the work you sponsor through CHHF even more critical.

Recently, we lost a devoted longtime supporter who faithfully championed the work of CHHF through her giving and constant prayer. Her family has established a $50,000 Memorial Matching Challenge starting today—on what would have been her birthday. Every dollar you give today will be TRIPLED to keep our clinic doors open, deploy medical brigades, and distribute deworming treatments like Albendazole.

It's National Bike to Work Week in the U.S. - widely regarded as a noble effort to improve one's health and the environment. In rural Honduras, a bike is a luxury! People like Bexa and Elda, CHHF's amazing cooks (not pictured), walk 30 minutes each way to work - early in the morning or late at night, rain or shine.

Welcome to the CHHF family, Stephanie Lusk, FNP! 🩺✨

This , we are thrilled to introduce a new face to our mission community. Stephanie Lusk, a Family Nurse Practitioner from West Virginia, recently completed her very first trip to Honduras with Emily Barnes’ team!

Making that first leap is a huge milestone, and Stephanie jumped in with both feet. Her expertise as an FNP was an incredible asset to the team, providing vital care to families who look forward to our clinics all year long.

Stephanie, thank you for sharing your "Mountain State" heart with the people of Honduras. We are so proud of the work you did on your first trip and can’t wait to see where your journey with CHHF takes you next! 💙🏔️
